Once upon a time there was a hungry wolf. He had hunted a deer. He tried to quickly swallow a large piece of meat. A bone also went inside and got stuck in the throat. He was injured. He went to Crane for help. He promised him a reward if he would extract the bone. He also assured them of his safety.

Crane agreed. It inserted its long beak into its throat and pulled out the bone. The wolf was feeling at ease. The stork demanded a reward. The wolf quickly replied that he did not bite his head when he could not escape his teeth. This was a great reward.

A wealthy landowner named Carl often walked around his vast estate to congratulate himself on his great wealth. One day while riding around his estate on his favorite horse, he happened upon Hans, an old tenant farmer. Hans was sitting under a tree while Karl rode by.

Hans said, ‘I was just thanking God for my food.’ ‘If that’s all I have to eat, I wouldn’t mind thanking,’ Carl protested.

Hans replied, ‘God has given me everything I need and I am grateful for that.’

The old farmer added, ‘It is strange that you have come so far because last night I had a dream. A voice in my dream told me….the richest man in the valley will die tonight.’ I don’t know what it means, but I thought I should tell you.’

‘Dreams are nonsense,’ Carl sniffed, and galloped off, but he couldn’t forget Hans’s words…the richest man in the valley will die tonight.

He was obviously the richest man in the valley, so he invited his doctor to his house that evening. Karl tells the doctor what Hans had said. After a thorough examination, the doctor told the rich landowner, ‘Carl, you are as strong and healthy as a horse. You are not going to die tonight.’

Nevertheless, for reassurance, the doctor stayed with Carl, and they played cards through the night. The next morning the doctor is gone and Karl apologizes for being so upset over the old man‘s dream.

About nine o’clock a messenger came to Karl’s door. ‘What is this?’ Carl demanded. The messenger explained, ‘It is about the old swan. He died in his sleep last night.

Moral Of The Story: You don’t need money to be rich, be thankful for what you have and you will feel happy.

Always Listen To Your Heart

As a child, Monty Roberts was the son of a horse trainer and moved from stable to stable, farm to farm, training horses. The boy’s studies were constantly interrupted. One day, when he was a senior, his teacher asked him to write down what he wanted to be when he grew up.

He didn’t hesitate and wrote a seven-page letter about his intention to own a stable. It was a detailed paper with the location of buildings, stables and even a house plan. Two days later he got his paper back, with F written on the first page.

After class he asked his teacher why he got such low marks.

The teacher told him, “This dream is unrealistic for a boy like you, who has no money, no means and who comes from a traveling family. There is no possibility of reaching this goal.”

The boy had driven 37 nails into the fence on the first day. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of spikes per day slowly decreased. He found that controlling anger was easier than driving nails into the fence.

After all, the day has also come when the boy did not lose his temper. He told his father about this and the father suggested that the boy now take out one nail for each day so that he can control his anger. Days passed and the boy finally was able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

To prove his point, the tiger jumped into the cage. Jackal immediately closed the cage door. The man thanked the Jackal and went away.

Angry Snake

A carpenter went home after closing his workshop. While he was gone, a venomous snake entered his workshop. The snake was hungry and was hoping that its food was hidden somewhere inside. It flipped from one end to the other. In the end it hit an ax and was very slightly injured.

Out of anger and revenge, the snake bitten the snake with all its might. What can a metal axe do with snake bite? On the contrary, blood started coming out from the mouth of the snake.

Out of anger and arrogance, the snake tried its best to strangle and kill the metal axe—the object that was causing him pain—by wrapping it around the axe. The carpenter opened the workshop the next day. He found a dead snake wrapped around the blade of the axe. The snake didn’t die here because of someone’s fault.

But it faced these consequences only because of its own anger and rage. Sometimes in anger, we try to harm others. But as time goes by, we realize that we hurt ourselves more. It is not necessary that we react to everything. Step back and ask yourself whether the matter is really worth reacting to.

“I can’t play. I have a family now. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?” The man replied. “Sorry! I don’t have a house. But you can cut my branches to build your house,” the tree said to the man.

The man cut off all the branches of the tree and happily went away. The tree was happy to see its friend smiling again.

One evening the man returned to the apple tree. “Come and play with me,” the tree asked the man.

“We are getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat,” the man asked the apple tree.

“Use my trunk to make your boat,” said the tree to the man. He cut down the trunk and made a boat out of it.

He went sailing and was never seen for a long time. The man returned after many years.

“Sorry my boy! But I have nothing to give you any more. I have nothing for you anymore. No more apples…no more branches…no more trees for you to climb on.” Not the trunk,'” said the tree in a pained voice.

“No problem… I don’t even have teeth to bite and I’m too old to climb trees,” replied the man. “I just needed a place to rest after so many days,” replied the man.

“The roots of an old tree are the best places to lean on. Come and sit with me and rest,” replied the apple tree with concern in its voice. The old man sat down. The apple tree was happy and smiled with tears.

This is the story of every individual. The tree is like our parents. When we were little, we could not imagine our life without them. But as we grow up, we drop them. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything to make us happy.
